Tips for Attending Events in Corfu
For ticketed concerts and festivals, booking in advance is recommended, particularly for events at smaller venues.
Allow additional travelling time when attending events in Corfu Town, as August traffic and parking can be busy. Events inside the Old Fortress may also involve walking over uneven or sloping surfaces.
Village festivals often begin later than advertised and continue well into the evening. Carrying some cash is sensible, as smaller food and drink stalls may not always accept cards.
For outdoor performances, lightweight clothing, comfortable shoes and mosquito repellent can make the evening more enjoyable. See our guide to what to pack for Corfu month by month.
