Perama is one of Corfu’s most scenic and convenient places to stay if you want views, airport access, easy buses, Mouse Island, Kanoni and Corfu Town nearby.

Set just south of Corfu Town and opposite Kanoni, Perama is best known for its views across the lagoon towards Pontikonisi, better known as Mouse Island, and the tiny white Vlacherna Monastery. It is also one of the best places in Corfu for plane spotting, because aircraft land and take off nearby over the water.

This is not a classic beach resort with a long sandy bay and a busy nightlife strip. Perama is more of a scenic coastal base, useful for short stays, sightseeing, airport convenience, Mouse Island views and easy trips to Corfu Town, Kanoni, Benitses and Achilleion.
