Liapades is one of Corfu’s loveliest village-and-beach bases, set on the island’s west coast close to Paleokastritsa, Rovinia Beach, Limni Beach and some of the clearest water in Corfu.

It is not a loud resort, and it is not a polished beach-club destination. Liapades has a more traditional, local and relaxed feel. The old village sits inland, with narrow streets, small squares, local houses, tavernas and a slower pace. Down by the coast, Liapades Beach gives you access to boat hire, swimming, nearby coves and some beautiful west-coast scenery.

This is a great choice if you like the idea of Paleokastritsa but want somewhere quieter, more village-like and less busy during the day. It is also one of the best bases for visiting Rovinia Beach, one of Corfu’s most beautiful natural beaches.
