Dassia is one of Corfu’s classic east-coast resorts, set between Gouvia and Ipsos, close enough to Corfu Town for easy day trips but far enough away to feel like a proper beach holiday base.

It is a practical, well-connected resort with calm water, beach bars, restaurants, hotels, villas, watersports, easy buses and a relaxed holiday atmosphere. It is not the most dramatic beach in Corfu, and it is not a tiny hidden village either. Dassia is all about convenience: sea on your doorstep, Corfu Town nearby, Ipsos nightlife just up the road, and plenty of ways to explore the island without feeling too remote.

This is a very useful resort if you want a bit of everything. You can spend the morning swimming, have a casual beach lunch, take the Blue Bus into Corfu Town, go for drinks in Ipsos, book a boat trip, or hire a car for a day exploring the north-east coast.

Choose Dassia if you want an easy, well-located Corfu holiday with calm sea, good transport and plenty nearby.

Choose somewhere else if you want a long sandy beach, a tiny traditional village or wild nightlife directly outside your hotel.
