Corfu Airport ↔ Port

Arriving in Corfu by plane or ferry and wondering how to get between the airport, ferry port and Corfu Town?

Good news — everything is surprisingly close together.

Most journeys take 5–10 minutes by taxi, and there’s also a cheap public bus (Line 15) that connects all three.

Here’s the simple, stress-free way to move between them — plus exactly when to take a taxi vs bus.

✈️ Airport → Corfu Port

Perfect if you’re landing and catching a cruise or ferry to Paxos, Igoumenitsa or Italy.

🚖 Taxi (best option for most people)

  • Time: 5–10 minutes

  • Cost: ~€20 - €30

Book Here - Taxi.

Local tip: If you’ve got a ferry to catch, just take the taxi. It removes all stress.

🚌 Bus Line 15 (budget option)

Corfu’s Blue Bus Line 15 runs directly between Corfu Airport → Corfu Town → Corfu Port.

✅ Official timetables (click to view/download)

What to expect

  • very cheap (a few euros)

  • stops in Corfu Town first

  • continues on to the port

  • luggage space is limited

✔ great if travelling light
✖ slower than taxi
✖ not ideal with big suitcases

If you’re relaxed on time, it’s perfectly fine. If you’re rushing, taxi wins.

🏛️ Corfu Town → Port

If you’re staying in Old Town, you’re very close.

🚶 Walk

  • 20–25 minutes

  • flat route

  • easy with backpacks

Not great with heavy suitcases (cobbles + heat).

Super cheap and worth it if you’ve got luggage.
