Kanoni is one of the most iconic and photographed places in Corfu. Set just south of Corfu Town, this scenic hillside area is famous for its postcard view over Vlacherna Monastery, Mouse Island, the lagoon, the airport runway and the sparkling Ionian Sea.

This is not a classic beach resort with a long sandy beach, a busy strip and nightlife on every corner. Kanoni is more of a scenic Corfu Town suburb and sightseeing base. It is peaceful, close to the airport, close to Corfu Town and perfect for short stays, romantic views, plane spotting, easy sightseeing and slow coffees overlooking one of the island’s most famous panoramas.

Kanoni works especially well if you want to be close to Corfu Town but not directly inside the Old Town. It is also a brilliant first-night or last-night base because it is so close to the airport, while still feeling scenic and memorable.
